I had been hoping to get any school supplies our teachers didn't say anything about at Orientation these two days off, but all the stores are supposedly closed. And its not like I can go to the store after school with swim practice every day from 3:00-5:00. Bollocks again.
School... nothing but school. They took us from a 4x4 schedule to a 7x7. BOLLOCKS. We have 50 minutes for each class, and about 20 minutes for lunch, with less than 5 minutes to get to each class which, for me, has proved rather difficult. Also, that gives us ZERO time to get to the lockers which they SAY we have. I mean, that's seven classes worth of crap to carry around, and god those textbooks are HUGE. And me, one of my classes is P.E., which is first period, so I'm sweaty and disgusting, my straightened hair ruined by second period. And, as I said, I have swimming after school (no compensation for athletes WHATSOEVER) and I have to carry that crap around all day as well.
I mean, they changed up the schedule for the damn FCAT testing and the supposed lack of educational activity going on. BOLLOCKS. If kids aren't doing their work on the 4x4, they aren't going to do it on a bloody 7x7 either!
For anyone who thinks Florida is the best damn place on Earth and that I'm lucky to live here, you have no idea how WRONG you are. (Orlando and all its damn amusements parks are it! It's not magical everywhere else!) Florida's education system is the worst in the country, and the students who actually give a damn suffer for it. (Damn slacker bastards. Why do you have to make everything harder?)
It's days like these that I listen to "Stupid MF" on a marathon.
